AARON B. BOOTH is a graduate of UCLA (B.A., 1976) and obtained his law degree from Hastings College of the Law (J.D., 1982). Following his admission to the bar in 1982 he has specialized in litigation. He recently obtained a defense verdict in a construction defect claim brought by a Homeowner Association involving 268 units. That case also resulted in a 7.1 million dollar award to his general contractor client, including an award of punitive damages against that association. Mr. Booth was previously a member of the law firms of Bonelli, Heib, Bonelli and Booth and Brady, Riggs, Ford and Booth. Mr. Booth's civil litigation practice focuses on the defense of construction defect and commercial litigation cases. Mr. Booth is active in construction industry matters and previously served on the legal committee of the California Builders Industry Association. KERRY D. CHRISTOPH studied Applied Physics, with specialization in Quantum Optics and Material Science at the University of California, Davis, and Western State University (B.S.L., 1992), and obtained his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law (J.D., Magna Cum Laude, 1995). Following admission to the bar in January of 1996, Mr. Christoph has handled a variety of litigation matters from initiation through trial, including the areas of construction disputes, probate litigation, family law practice (dissolution), criminal trials, as well as transactional work in international letters of credit and negotiable paper. The majority of his practice since 1998 has been civil litigation, focusing on defense of litigants in commercial litigation, with an emphasis on fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, commercial paper and investor disputes.
DAVID S. BLAU Mr. Blau received his B.A. degree in Psychology from UCLA, and his law degree from Loyola Law School in 1993. Mr. Blau advises clients in labor and employment disputes, and represents clients in insurance coverage and other litigation matters. Mr. Blau is also active in the music industry, and represents clients in negotiating, drafting and supervising contracts for creative artists, directors and producers in the music, film and television industries. Mr. Blau is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the American Bar Association, and the Litigation and Intellectual Property Sections of the California State Bar.
JOHN BEALL obtained his bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of California Los Angeles in 1987. He obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of the Pacific, Mc George School of Law 1995. Mr. Beall's relevant experience includes insurance defense, including but not limited to, construction defect defense of developers, general contractors and subcontractors, general liability insurance defense, and general civil litigation. Mr. Beall is the father of two children and lives and works in Orange County.
RICK ZEISE
graduated from California
State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1982. He
completed Western State University, College of Law and was admitted to the
California Bar in 1988. He is a member of the California Bar and the Federal Bar.
Mr. Zeise is an experienced trial attorney in both bodily injury litigation for
the defense and Construction Defect litigation for subcontractors. He is
currently completing a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in
Finance at the University of California, San Bernardino; anticipated graduation
is December, 2006. Mr. Zeise is married to Shelly Zeise, also a licensed
California attorney.
